Achieving Recovery Together (A.R.T), NewVista, and the Clark County Agency for Substance Abuse Policy (ASAP) hope to shutdown fear by openly talking about substance use. We fear what we simply do not know. This movie is about the real-world opioid crisis which has been tearing America apart for years. By showing what happens to the families in the midst of addiction, we hope that our audience will understand the power of this crisis.

A lack of education regarding the reality of today’s substance user is fueling the stigmatization. The first entry into opioids was through prescription pain pills. A majority of America’s estimated 24 million drug and alcohol abusers are just like everybody else – fathers, sons, mothers, daughters, coworkers, brothers and sisters.
They are no different from you, other than the fact that they are suffering.

This event is free and open to the public, but we request you reserve your seat(s) in advance.

Reception 6:00 – 6:45 PM
Movie 7:15 – 9:00 PM
