Our guest suite is located on the 1st floor of our home. The space has a private entrance, and a great view of the Kentucky River. Steps from the deck is access to our boat dock for fishing or a canoe/kayak ride(use ours or bring your own). If you’re more of a land lover you may enjoy the view from our tree house. We are located about 8mi from Winchester, 16mi from Downtown Lexington, 10mi Richmond.

Our pets are not allowed in the rental space. Friendly guest pets welcome.

The space

We’re located on the KY river, out in the country but only 16 miles from downtown Lexington. We are about 25 mins from the Ky Horse Park. Many guests have enjoyed visiting local wineries and distilleries. We like taking canoe/kayak rides down to look at the KY river palisades, fishing from the dock or just hanging out on the decks enjoying the surroundings. Kids enjoy playing in the tree houses and yard.

This space is not sound proof. We have kids and live above our guest suite. You will hear footsteps and faint noise from upstairs. There are dogs that bark, including ours, in our neighborhood. Based on our great reviews you can see that this has not been a deterrent to our guests.

Guest access

Guest will have access to the apartment, deck, yard, boat dock, tree house, 2 kayaks, and canoe.
The space includes a small fridge, microwave, and access to a charcoal grill. We live out in the country so our internet is via satellite. We do have wifi, but it can be disrupted more than typical internet access.

Interaction with guests

We will respect guest privacy but are usually up for hanging out too.

Other things to note

This is a fun and unique place to relax and unwind for families, friends or couples. We have hosted more than four guests with prior approval. We also allow our guests to have visitors. This is on a case by case basis.
