Turkey Trot

Turkey Trot 5K is a fundraiser for Clark County Community Services. The mission of CCCS is to provide a one stop place where Clark County families can receive assistance in time of crises and to promote responsive families toward self-sufficiency. All proceeds from Turkey Trot 5K 2016 will benefit the 1,100 families seeking food, clothing, utility assistance and housing assistance each month.

Course Info:
Same challenging 5K course as last year! It is an out and back loop starting near the barn heading toward the back of the property before winding through the trees following the path to the front of the property. There will be a water station at the loop near the barn as you head back over the trail and returning to the starting line. Race Fees:
– Pre-register on line before September 30th and pay $20 you will receive our Official Turkey Trot 2016 shirt
– Pre-register on line before October 31st and pay $25 you will receive our Official Turkey Trot 2016 shirt
– Register on line before November 4th and pay $25 no guarantee for our Official Turkey Trot shirt
– Register on race day and pay $30 no guarantee for our Official Turkey Trot shirt.

Teams:
Invite your friends and family to join you on November 12th by creating a team! If you want to create a team, you will be prompted during the registration process to do so. Simply create a name for your team and then share that name with all your friends and family! Your friends and family will register the same way that you did, except they will select to be a part of an existing team. They will then scroll down the team names and then select the team they want to be on. There are no additional fees for creating or joining a team.
Prizes for:
Wild Turkey Team-the team with the most Spirit!
Big Turkey Team-the team with the most Runner/Walkers
Money Turkey Team-the team that raises the most money.

Awards:
The Top 3 Overall Men and Women will receive ribbons and organically raised turkeys donated by Full Circle Market. In addition, the Top 3 in each gender/age division will receive ribbons. If you are a winner, you may pick up your awards at CCCS at 30 Taylor Avenue, Winchester, Kentucky.

Parking:
Parking is available on site.

Pre-Packet Pick Up:
Pre-packet pick up will be available at Full Circle Market at 240 Redwing Drive, Winchester on Friday, November 11th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. If you are unable to pick up during this time, please pick up your packet between 8-9 on race day.

Race Day Pick Up & Registrations:

Race day pick up and registrations will be available starting at 8:00 am at the race site. We highly recommend coming early to ensure the race doesn’t start without you! We will be accepting cash, and checks made out to CCCS.
