Fiber to Fabric on the Frontier

This hands-on-history event lets you participate as you learn how to turn flax and wool into fabric. Demonstration and activities include 18^th century wool preparation (sheep shearing, cleaning, and carding); flax preparation (braking, scutching, and hackling); spinning flax and wool; and weaving on various period looms.
