Art Ventures in Clay Children’s Classes (Ages 8-12)
Young clay artists use their fingers to delight in the discovery of the plastic nature of clay. Kids will roll, pinch and coil a variety of simple shapes to make “monsters,” figurines, wind chimes and more! Simple glazing techniques will also be taught.
Focus skills: form, color, unity, texture, and balance.
All classes are $20 and include 1.5 hours of instruction, clay, glaze, firing and handling. Clases will be held on first Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:30 at 18 W. Lexington Avenue in Winchester.
