Once again festival time is rolling around!

The 5thAnnual Homer Ledford Dulcimer Festival will be held at the Campbell Jr. HS at 620 Boone Ave. Winchester, KY.

Cost will be $80.00 this includes your ticket for the concert on Saturday night. There will be no Pay Pal this year. If you wish you can send a check or money order made out to Dana McCall 3320 Ecton Rd. Winchester, KY 40391 and put in note for Homer Ledford Dulcimer Festival and I will register you that way. Anyone doing this will get a $5.00 dollar discount. Enroll for $75.00! You can also include a list of the classes you wish to take if you want, simply include the schedule with the classes circled. Our registration will take place Friday evening during setup and Saturday morning before classes. Best Western in Winchester will be giving a discount for those who stay with them, just let them know you are with the Homer Ledford Festival!

Don Pedi will kick off the festival with a presentation at 6:30pm Thursday evening (August 31st) at the Bluegrass Heritage Museum on Main St. “The roots of the mountain dulcimer” with some wonderful pictures and music. It will be free and open to the public. A small donation to the museum would be nice if you enjoy yourself.

School doors will open at 5:00pm Friday after school and at 8:00am Saturday morning. Classes will begin at 9:00am. The concert will start at 6:30pm Saturday evening in the school auditorium. Non participant fee for the concert and the public will be $5.00 and can be purchased in the foyer. (Kids under 13 are free!)

Set up for the vendors will start at 5pm on Friday evening after school is out and you can register at this time also. There will be a JAM session in the gym so come on in and have fun.
