When the Kentucky combination of heat and humidity make many outdoor activities too uncomfortable to enjoy, join us for special presentations, lectures, or demonstrations every Saturday afternoon in air-conditioned comfort. Each topic will relate to the history of early Kentucky, and will be in the Tavern or the Orientation/Theater Blockhouse of the Fort. These events are free with regular paid admission to the fort.

Join us for the 4th annual Holy Smokes BBQ Contest! Local pitmasters compete and help to raise money for the Winchester/Clark Co. Farmers’ Market. For just $5, you get a sandwich, chips, drink, and a cookie! Lunch will be served at 11am until we run out.
